Boca has a wide mix of pools. Some are in older homes near the Intracoastal. Others are in gated golf and country club communities where the pool is part of the property's whole look. We resurface, retile, redo coping and decks, repair leaks and build new pools, and every job starts with a free on-site visit. We also keep pools clean week to week, so ask whether your street is on our weekly route.

What matters for pools in Boca Raton

Gated communities and HOA approval

Much of Boca Raton sits inside HOA or club communities, including neighborhoods around Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. Most boards want to review a change in finish color, coping or deck material first. That application is the homeowner's, but we can supply specs and drawings for it.

Salt air and Intracoastal homes

Homes close to the Intracoastal and the beach see more salt in the air and more wear on tile, coping and metal fittings. Stone and tile choices matter more there, and we talk through them on site.

Permits and water table

Boca Raton issues pool permits through its own city building department. The water table is high across much of the city, so a pool should not be drained without checking groundwater first.

Pools that have aged in place

Many Boca pools are decades old and have been patched more than once. A site visit usually shows whether the shell needs a new finish, new tile or something deeper.

Boca Raton pool questions

Do I need a permit to resurface my pool in Boca Raton?

Permit requirements depend on the scope. Work that changes structure, plumbing or electrical usually needs one from the City of Boca Raton. We tell you during the estimate what is likely, and permitting is quoted separately when needed.

My HOA in Boca wants approval first. Can you help?

Yes, with the paperwork side. The application and any fees are yours as the homeowner, but we can provide specs and drawings for the submission. Starting that early keeps the schedule from stalling.

Can you come see the pool if I am near Mizner Park or downtown?

Our office is at Plaza Real in the Mizner Park area. The estimate is free and on site, and you can also text photos to (954) 953-3808 for a first look before we visit.
